Maybe the Powers-that-be should have come up with an alternative that would have worked--'Screw-up'--sounds good. Not inflamitory but definitely self-explanatory about the 'HOLE' you just found yourself inserted by NOT paying attention to the details. At least that's the view from a civilian mind. Believe me, this civilian knows about 'Screw-ups'. What a shame the one of the most famous and honored term for a Marine has been put into this position.
