It is 2008 and there are still rumblings of racism.  I feel that the best way to get over race is to do exactly that turn a blind eye to race.  Quit identifying ourselves as African American, Chinese American, and Mexican American etc and let us all just be AMERICAN and nothing else.  That way we can get past all this crap and we can truly become a country.  Let us get rid of the NAACP and anything else and just treat everyone the same regardless of race, religion, or color etc.  I know this is a novel idea but if we can do it by the time my grandchildren are old enough to notice a difference of color they won’t even notice it.
