My question is this?  When did it become acceptable to sign a contract and then not honor the terms of said contract?  I am talking about sports and in particular about football.  Seems that every year you hear about a player that is going to sit out of camp or even not play the season if his contract is not reworked.

I understand that a team can cut you if you do not perform up to expectations (they can not cut someone that is injured) but you still get some severance.  I just don’t understand how 8 million dollars a year to play a game is not fair.  I think I might try telling the Marine Corps that I am not going to report to the rifle range because I don’t make enough money (that will be saved for another day).

I will come back once they renegotiate the contract I signed let’s make it for 6 years at 500,000 a year I mean I am a good Marine.
