It says flight training is not covered, and thats only half true. Traditional flight school flight training is not covered, but flight training offered by a college is, even a community college offering an Associates Degree. Yavapai College in Prescott, AZ just approved a Helicopter Flight Training Associates Degree program. (YCC.EDU). Under the “What is not covered” section there is a bit of a mistake. Now I just need to figure out how to finally get my university approved by the VA to receive the benefits! You would think that they would want some insurance that they will get money from the VA, but it can be like pulling teeth to get admin wonks to fill out a form sometimes over here.
