With the upcoming holiday (Labor Day) I am lucky enough to get a 96 hour pass.  That is four days off where I can sit around and do a whole lot of nothing and I need it.  As you kow the week before last I spent the week in the field this past week I have been on the rifle/pistol range which has meant getting up at 430. 

Unfotunately I was not able to leave work directly following the range as is the norm because my shop is preparing for a upcoming field op so I ended up working till 1600 or later almost every day last week.  that made for a tiring two week period so this 4 day weekend will be a good break before heading out on another two week field op starting the 7th.

This weekend will be spent with family doing some activities such as attending a baseball game Saturday and having a BBQ at my in-laws on Sunday.  I hope to get a ccouple of good bike rides in and on Tuesday I will get to spend some time with my 5 1/2 month old daughter as my stepson and wife go back to school that day.

All in all I should be well relaxed and ready to hit the road running (literally) Wednesday when I go back to work.
