AMEN - seconding Lela. Since the Marine!Goth's dad died when he was still in HS, the senior Marines have been his 'dads' ever since - starting with his MCJROTC instructors. I honestly think if it hadn't been for Gunner and Top, he would have dropped out of school and been totally lost. Instead, he's working on his cutting score for Sgt. Thank you to all the SNCOs that have touched his life, and the lives of other young Marines like him.

Thank you for all you do, and if you ever need a stop over in Kansas, you have a spare bed here, as well.

We are extremely fortunate that you, and other leaders like you, choose to remain in our great military, even though you could make much more money on "the outside." We need leaders to mentor our young, sometimes impressionable, service members; to help them grow into responsible, capable adults who recognize good and bad choices and can make logical choices. Society, as a whole, can only benefit from the type of citizens leaders like you "grow." I can only say "thank you" for seeing the need and taking care of it.
