I hope he remembered to buy candy! I'll be at my mom's - all her former students and their kids stop by. Still, we will have a party with some other American kids for our daughter, and she will dress up in her costume, and we will make the most of it. It would be nice to have some insurance that we could hear the doorbell ring a few times tonight, just for old times' sake. Miss Em is right... you miss it when it's not there. That first October I decorated and got the candy and guess what -- the trick was on me NO KIDS. Not one - Nadda - zipp. It has been the same every year. Once again I've decorated and tonight I'll get a large bag of candy on the way home from work. Then it's the wait to see if it's the same as last year. Once again I’ve decorated and tonight I’ll get a large bag of candy on the way home from work. Then it’s the wait to see if it’s the same as last year.
