Your description of the wind and nets leads me to remember a REALLY windy night in Kosovo, when a bunch of our tents went up in a driving wind and rainstorm. It was actually pretty funny (in retrospect) as all of us ran around in the mud in our skivvies trying to lash everything back down... there's no insurance against that kind of thing, though.
