Limited Duty Officers or LDOs are selected from the Warrant Officer ranks for a full commission.  It is not required that the Marine have a bachelor’s degree as it is for your entry level 2nd Lieutenants.  Just like Warrrant Officers LDOs are subject matter experts and usually have very technical type jobs.  Jobs in which experience is deemed necessary and not just a manager is needed.  Pleasse extend your congratulations to those that are mentioned in MARADMIN 021/09 as being selected for a commission to Captain.
