Free Food at Chik Fil A
On May 20th (Wednesday) Chik Fil A will be offering free meals to Active Duty and Retired Military and their families from 5 PM until 8 PM. Only thing is I have been unable to confirm if this is a nation wide event or only occuring in the Southern California area. All that I do know for sure is that the Chula Vista, Sports Arena, Oceanside, Murietta, Temecula and San Marcos stores in San Diego and Riverside counties will be hookin it up. I know that my family and I will be attending as we love those chicken sandwiches and you can’t get much better sweet tea in Souther California than what Chik Fil A has. Hopefully more locations are doing something similar and more of you guys can get a free meal tomorrow.

YEA!!!
You’re back from the ‘Resort of Sand and Fun’ (AKA-29 Palms). Where lots of ‘Shoot and Scoot’ as well as other ‘Fun and Games’ got played-out in time honored fashion (such as the time-line of a General’s plan of action).
Hope all went as planed and on-schedule AND no one got injured.
Hope you and your ‘Dogs’ found some time for ‘relaxation and fun’ of your own while you were in a ‘down-time’ even if it was just being ‘bored’ Marines.
Hope you were smothered in Kisses from your ‘Ladies’ when you got home.

Wow free meal is good. Eating a chicken sandwich and drinking sweet tea under the sun is one of a kind experience because you will encounter different people easting along with you. Don’t forget to bring some friends for you to enjoy that free meal.

Ouch. I’m living overseas, so I haven’t had a Chik Fil A in a couple of years! That leads me to a little bit of homesickness, there, no question. I’m so glad that there are companies that remember the service members and veterans like this. I have a lot of respect for the Chik Fil A people, and they have earned some insurance that I will continue to chow down on their sandwiches when we get back Stateside!
