I don’t understand how this kid thought it was OK to do this if his dad was a Navy Chief. I would imagine that his dad would have drilled respect for military personnel in his head and that you don’t try to impersonate them.

The Gunnery Sgt in the picture is GySgt Carmen. He, GySgt Ableman and GySgt Bodish were coming off training a bunch of ROTC midshipman out at the Mountain Warfare School. Would not want to be in his sketchers

But personally I was hoping that the DI’s would have a “H&LL of a lot” more than just “a Blast”.
I was hoping the the “F-F-Games would be brought to a NEW level just for the “[fill in the blank]” for the full 13 weeks.
I am also sure that “[fill in the blank]” brand new
brothers-to-be would have also made life H.E.L.L. for having the audasity to claim the title withOUT first the EFFORT once they figured out why the DI’s were on his A$$ so much.

As the saying goes…..

OH MY ‘GOD’ …. hello … Jarhead,

Gy Ableman did not strip that ‘[fill in the blank]‘ down to his skivies????!!!! P-L-E-A-S-E tell me …. that happened. An em-bar-ass-ing moment surely would not be a problem for a ‘[fill in the blank]‘.

I hope Gy Ableman called the ‘[fill in the blank's]‘ Dad, the Navy chief, in order to inform the Navy Chief[Dad] how much his son wants to be a Marine. AND to suggest to the Navy Chief [Dad] that the Navy Chief[aka Dad] should give Gy Ableman a helping hand in aiding the young ‘[fill in the blank]‘ to accquire his dream.

I pray that the 2 of them [Gy and the Navy Chief[Dad] then “Duck” marched ‘the [fill in the blank]‘ to the nearest Marine recruiter. While there they got the papers filled out, signed and the ‘[fill in the blank's]‘ A$$ was then “Duck” marched onto a bus by a couple of MP/SP’s which was headed for San Diego. Where upon the ‘[fill in the blank's]‘ arrival the ‘[fill in the blank]‘ will get his very own DI’s WHO know all about the ‘[fill in the blank's]‘ great desire to wear the ‘Dress Blues’ correctly for the next 6 years.

MARINE…..everyone wants to be one but most don’t want to
work for the HONOR and RIGHT to be one.

PS…Sorry for all of the ‘[fill in the blanks]‘ but every word that I thought of would have earned me a frown from you and most of the Marines that follow here. Having a potty-mouth at my ‘wizen’ age would put a big crimp in my trying to be a ‘lady’.
